Padma Tribune's journey began on March 26, 2001. Our venture is an unbiased, independent, and impartial online news medium. From the very beginning, we have emphasized the freedom of information access and expression for people of all classes, ages, genders, communities, and ideologies.

The core of our editorial philosophy is liberal democracy, pluralistic thought, secularism, and faith in the spirit of the Liberation War. We respect the rights and self-esteem of women, children, and religious and ethnic minority communities. Our journalism aims to support the creative initiatives of ordinary people and contribute to building a better, prosperous, and progressive future.

We work with a team of young and energetic journalists and staff, led by senior and experienced individuals with long professional experience and deep knowledge.

পদ্মা ট্রিবিউনের যাত্রা শুরু ২০০১ সালের ২৬ মার্চ। একটি বস্তুনিষ্ঠ, স্বাধীন ও দলনিরপেক্ষ অনলাইন সংবাদমাধ্যম হিসেবে আমাদের অভিযাত্রা। শুরু থেকেই আমরা সকল শ্রেণি, বয়স, লিঙ্গ, সম্প্রদায় ও মতাদর্শের মানুষের তথ্য প্রাপ্তি ও মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতাকে গুরুত্ব দিয়ে এসেছি।

আমাদের সম্পাদকীয় দর্শনের মূলভিত্তি হলো উদারনৈতিক গণতন্ত্র, বহুত্ববাদী চিন্তা, অসাম্প্রদায়িকতা ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় আস্থা। নারী, শিশু, ধর্মীয় ও জাতিগত সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের অধিকার এবং তাদের আত্মমর্যাদার প্রতি আমরা শ্রদ্ধাশীল। আমাদের সাংবাদিকতার উদ্দেশ্য হলো সাধারণ মানুষের সৃজনশীল উদ্যোগকে সহায়তা করা এবং একটি উন্নত, কল্যাণকর ও প্রগতিশীল ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ে তুলতে ভূমিকা রাখা।

একদল তরুণ ও উদ্যমী সাংবাদিক ও কর্মী নিয়ে আমরা কাজ করছি। তাদের নেতৃত্বে রয়েছেন সংবাদজগতের কিছু প্রবীণ ও অভিজ্ঞ ব্যক্তি, যাঁদের রয়েছে পেশাগত দীর্ঘ অভিজ্ঞতা ও গভীর জ্ঞান।

রূপকল্প
পাঠকদের কাছে সত্য ও পূর্ণাঙ্গ তথ্য পৌঁছে দেওয়া, বিশ্বকে বুঝতে ও নতুন সম্ভাবনা আবিষ্কারে সহায়তা করা এবং সমাজে ইতিবাচক ও সামগ্রিক পরিবর্তন আনয়নে কাজ করা।

ব্রত
সাংবাদিকতায় আমরা পেশাদারিত্ব ও নৈতিকতা চর্চা করি। সময়ের চাহিদা মেটাতে সৃজনশীলতা ও দক্ষতা বাড়িয়ে সবচেয়ে আধুনিক ও প্রাসঙ্গিক সংবাদমাধ্যম হিসেবে নিজেদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে চাই।

স্বাধীনতা: সত্যের সন্ধানে অটল থাকা এবং আর্থিক সক্ষমতার মাধ্যমে এই স্বাধীনতা রক্ষা করা।
জনমুখিতা: মানুষের কণ্ঠস্বর হয়ে ওঠা এবং তাদের পক্ষে অবস্থান নেওয়া।
ইতিবাচকতা: সমাজে ইতিবাচক রূপান্তরকে উৎসাহিত করা ও তার পক্ষে কথা বলা।
সংহতি: প্রতিশ্রুতি রক্ষা ও দায়িত্ব পালনে আমরা অঙ্গীকারবদ্ধ।
